I have to go up very early tomorrow, and feel tired, so I am retiring for the evening. Hope to continue this tomorrow.

Impulse #1 (Axis)
No strategic bombing.
Ground Strike:
Japan:
Nav2 Nanchang->86,142
Germany:
LND2 + LND3 -> Brussels
France can intercept the ground strike with one FTR2. Germany can counter-intercept with 3 FTR2, and one FTR3.
Will France Intercept? If there is no intercept, will France then use their AA on the ground strike?

RE: WWII - Sweden (Axis) vs England (Allies)
The 'France First' strategy should be called the 'Dice First' strategy. I was glad to see an attempt at it though. It gets very interesting when Poland hunkers down tenaciously and conservatively.
My current attempt at it is a game heading into the middle of March/April where the Axis have had exactly one Fine weather impulse in the N. Temperate - the very first impulse of the game with the guaranteed weather.

RE: WWII - Sweden (Axis) vs England (Allies)
I remember a game where M/A 41 had three fair impulses in the arctic, EVERY impulse from M/J 41 through S/O 41 was fair, and N/D went Fair-Snow-Fair-Snow. The Russians were basically blown off the map. The big problem WiF has is that caused my group to stop playing it is that luck, particularly weather, can determine the outcome, and there is not much the players can do about it.ORIGINAL: brian brian

I thought I knew how to play this game....

I move some CP toward Manila
There are three areas for possible combat and only the Baltic Sea is chosen
