russian partisans in new version

I am anal about axis garrisons adjacent to Russian partisan hexes, but I got a screen message as my turn went to "turn over save" in a mp game that a partisan had appeared; brief glance suggested north of the Pripyat marsh. Happened in June so it wasn't a case of garrison loss due to Russian winter.

so my question is: in the v 1.06.02 do Russian partisans appear on LOC outside the circles P partisan locations?

Nothing has changed as far as I know... there are two spots for Partisans that I can see north of the Pripyats, 119,35 and 120,36.

To confirm, you would have had an Axis unit in the right position to cover both spots?

well Hubert, actually no. the unit wandered off a hex to the east trying to capture a stock of vodka supposedly stored there.

I will add this for personal experience. Russian Partisans will not cross into Turkey
