Name glitch

Tried searching for this but my search terms must be awry.
Playing Scenario 6 as Allies against the AI.
I have Leander class Cruisers in both Indian Ocean and Coral Sea.
There was a combat report that flashed up saying that Achilles was attacked near Akyab. I went WTF! Achilles was supposed to be with a NZ TF in the Coral Sea.
When I checked, yes, it still was in the Coral Sea but Leander, in the Indian Ocean, had taken a hit.
It looks like the game was trying too hard with FOW, but has this happened to others in the past? I did get something like this a few turns later.

It is not common, but isn't exactly rare either.

Think up a suitable punishment for the radio operator that got the call sign wrong on the report and caused SLAP {Supreme Leader of Allies in the Pacific} to worry about new Wormhole Technology. Counting bears on Kodiak Island sounds like a suitable posting for the miscreant.

Well, no, it's a bug in announcements. This happens only in announcements about your ships sunk. Why would there be FOW? After-action combat reports are filed the same turn and are always correct.
