Windows 10

I am trying to run the game on windows 10. It will not scroll and any commands take up 10 seconds to a minute to execute. I was running the game on windows7 which worked fine, that computer blew up. new computer (used) came with windows 10. The game loads fine (only using 3/4 screen) The main thing is it will not scroll and the combat animations do come up all the time. under the current conditions the game cannot be played. Could somebody talk me through step by step and to what to do. I am trying to run the standard game. I only use this compter for this game.

Read the stickied thread on switches and how to use them. They provide the links needed between the old technology of the game engine and the newer Windows versions and computer/graphics hardware.
It will look seem a bit technical when reading but it is as simple as putting some text into a specific place on the game shortcut that points to the game executable file (NOT the autorun.exe file that is installed by the game installation software).
