but this tanker convoy battles with another sub... first W-3 is hit by duds (don't know how many E I would have lost if those MK-14 would have worked) and then the sub is forced to surface by depth charges... what then follows just makes me shake my head, non of the E was able to hit the sub on the surface with anything else than 13mm AA guns... the engagement didn't end with a confirmed sunk sub but the sub managed to escape...
