Worker salary increasing automatically

Post by RickyFourEyes »

Hi,

I've found that my worker salary has been increasing without my input.

Is this part of the system recruiting to fill demand, a side-effect of the Union Chief event that I had active, or a bug?

Thanks

In a specific zone? Or over all of them?

I've only got two zones, and the second is recently conquered so I can't yet tell if it's an issue there.

In my capital it's jumped up to 20*, it was 14* a few saves ago and I know I haven't changed it. Going back to a save before I had the charismatic Union chief, it had raised to 5* which again I didn't do.

So either the system does this to meet worker demand, or it's a bug?

I'm pretty sure it's the Union Chief event or a similar event. He wants higher wages and giving in to his demands raises them. It says in the top paragraph and not the A, B, C options (which is where it probably should say it since it's a consequence of one of the options).

Okay, that makes sense. I don't actually remember getting the event but that will teach me to pay more attention.

Yeah, I'm with you there haha. Modern games have conditioned me to look at the decisions and ignore the flavor/context parts. I'm glad it's making me do so.
