Treches and SPWAW

Post by Crash_franco »

Okay if this is going to be a pain just say so please....
I know units can become entrenched when left in the same spot for a while or by order in the deploy phase, but there does not seem to be a place where one can set up a trench system (like the at the start of the war when almost all the Allies were still in WW1 mode). If it is possible PLEASE let me know how.
If not, is it going to be a part of one of the follow-ups?

I an just wondering cause it would be a bit difficult to set up a Historrically correct Ardenes Forest battle or a start of WW2 without that being a part of the gameplay!

Thanx

Trenches can be created with the map editor as a terrain feature by using the create stream/gully button. I have never done this personally but I think this is what you are looking for, hope this helps.

You can make a system of trenches, but to get full benefit you sstill have to make the units "entrenched" using the scenario editor. During the game troops only "take cover" they don't really dig entrenchments.
