What does Italy want to do?

Questions to ponder for Italy/Germany as well:

Does Italy want to initiate in the Bay of Biscay?
Does Germany want to react against the French CA that will initiate in the Baltic?

If Italy has 6 surprise points, then they will go with surface combat. Use 4 surprise points to reduce the damage suffered to 1D + 3A. Then use the remaining 2 surprise points to 1X on the CW fleet. Then the Italian force aborts to La Spezia. Garibaldi takes the first D result. If I made a miscalculation then please let me now.

Italy will not react in BoB. I thought they couldn't anyway. Just kidding. Italy won't react in CSV.

Germany will not reinforce the Baltic Sea.

Naval combat continued:

D on CA Garibaldi, roll 9 - aborted
X on CA Manchester, roll 2 - destroyed
As Italy will abort the sea the aborts irrelevant.

Impulse #7 (Axis)

Germany DOW Belgium. One US entry marker added. (4 rolled)

Will Belgium align to France, or CW?

How will the Belgian units be placed? Not shown in the picture is 1 TERR, and 2 CPs.

Note: If France is considered for aligning Belgium, then, in order to avoid later surprises, it might be beneficial to be updated on the rule deviation on Vichy creation.

Edit: Pictured replaced with a better cut one.

In RAC there are a few rule deviations. Rule changes from the WIF version that MWIF is built upon.

I cut in the relevant change shortly.

I only mentioned it so that there will be no surprise later on, because I know that not all has read the entire RAC. Especially not when they were familiar to the WIF rules.

The last point may be the most relevant one. Note that it include minor countries colonies as well.

Cut from RAC:

17. Vichy France
....
17.2 Determine control
....
[Deviation (taken from RAW8.21 draft)
• All Axis controlled hexes in Vichy controlled minor countries and territories immediately revert (see 13.7.5)
to Vichy French control.
• Axis controlled hexes in Free French controlled minor countries and territories remain under Axis control.
• All Allied controlled hexes in Free French controlled minor countries and territories immediately revert to
Free French control.
• All Allied controlled hexes in Vichy French controlled minor countries and territories may now be
immediately reverted to Vichy control. Vichy France is hostile to all Allied major powers that do not
immediately revert all such hexes to Vichy control.
• Finally all Vichy controlled minor countries France has gained controlled of since the start of the game
immediately become controlled by an Axis major power nominated by the major power that installed Vichy
France. The minor country is conquered if it aligned to France and aligned if it was conquered by France.
If more than one minor country is available to be allocated they may be allocated to different major powers.]

Italy finds the Allied shipping on a roll of 5, while the Allies rolls a 10. This gives the Italian fleet enough surprise to eliminate all the Allied CPs.

Ground Strike:
Germany:
LND2 (Cologne) -> Brussels

France can intercept the raid NW of Reims (54,31) with one FTR2. Germany can counter-intercept with one FTR3. Will France intercept the German bomber?
