old threads

Post by LGKMAS »

I am reading the War Room threads from as far back as I can but I notice they are only 7 pages long.
Yet others are referencing much older posts.
I find that looking at the title of the threads often makes me think and open them up. A case of jogging my memory such that I remember I had a spot of trouble with that topic, let's see what others have to say about it. Or it is something I never had thought about, until someone posts it. I admit my forum search techniques leave a lot to be desired.
If there are no titles, I don't know what these older threads are about. I suppose it is a classic case of I don't know what I don't know.
Is there some place where older threads are stored with thread titles or will I have to try and figure out what I don't know?

On the forum page upper right (sort of), you need to select "All Topics" where it says "Display topics from last:"

Sorry but how do I get to that screen? The above message shows what I have available.
Do I go to search which does not show any of those options? I am not sure where you are starting from. Can you give me an url so I can start from where you obviously are looking?

e.g. search "display" on the forum webpage using browser text search, I cannot come up with any other directions. It's there

See picture, and then change from '365 days' to 'all topics'.

The reason you haven't found the box is because it isn't shown when you are in an actual thread. You most move to a forum, or sub-forum.

Edit. Forgot to add the picture. [:D]

Gottit! First try thought that all topics was below 365 days. Puzzled, as I often am, and then spotted all topics at the top of the list. Now I have weeks of research available. I thank you but SWMBO may not.
Thanks to all who help here.
