Running CMO on Microsoft Surface Pro

Post by wwtiger89 »

Was interested to see if anyone runs CMO on a Microsoft Surface Pro device. I am running on a Surface Pro 4 and after making the appropriate settings to override scaling, can use ok.

Curious what other settings/adjustments others make...

(Note: I don't run primarily on my Surface - I have a desktop for that...)

I have had two surfaces. A 3 and 4 with no issues running it. It doesn't run as fast as my main laptop, but it does everything you would expect. The only thing I make sure to do is turn off auto-save. I also have never loaded Tacview on it.

I ran the 3 for two years with CMNAO and the 4 for a couple more years then upgraded it to CMO. Got a Surface Book 2 less than a year ago and now use that for my portable system.

Command PE/CMANO definitely works on my Surface Go 1, runs quite well too.

Command Modern Operations is a bit more demanding and while I can run small scenarios on the Go it is a bit sluggish, I wouldn't recommend it.

I just bought a Surface Book 3 and I'd be absolutely shocked if it didn't run on that. I'll update when it arrives.

You should be shocked since I just said I ran CMO on a Surface 4 and a Surface Book 2.
