Hostile biology

We already encounter hostile biology - would sandworms be conceivable?

Hostile plants?

I like the idea of patches of hostile plants indeed. Stationary, but have to be Artillery-shelled to smithereens in order to move through unharmed (basically removing that vegetation). Can also be moved through normally but then you will lose troops and morale.

Hostile Plants fall under "Alien Nutritional value", "Atmos Farming Hazard" and somewhat even "Atmosphere Human Hazard" - in that the spore may make the air quite unbreathable.

Sandworms are possible. They are basically just a pretty agressive herbivore, I think.
1.02 saves the planet after creation. And someone has made a inofficial scenario editor:

So you could force them into a planet.

With spice - that is where things fall appart.

The plants should also grow and conquer space this way.
