well...got the CD today, got the video error, worked around it....and finally got to the mega-campaign. At the first battle, I clicked on 'read documents and choose option' and....crash!! While I realize that I should be going to the help desk, wading through more screens is not what I have in mind for this evening. Has this happened to anyone else? Any fixes that anyone knows of? Kudos to Matrix for all the hard work, which I'm hoping I can soon appreciate more fully.

Try deleting the steel.prf file and rebooting your computer.

That pesky Steel.prf is always a good bet with weird crash errors!
