True Planetary Conquest Mode

Post by Vhalor »

It's right there in the game's title itself. Neither is there ever any question about our true purpose. We seek to conquer the entire planet for our regime!

Yet the mode for exactly that style of experience is rather grievously missing. Without a doubt, we should have a true "Planetary Conquest Mode"! A mode in which there is no diplomacy, only unadulterated total war!

Everyone is at war with everyone at all times and no diplomatic "trickery" exists to delude the experience. Just pause for a moment and imagine the pure, glorious carnage that would ensue!

Better yet, would be to introduce the ability to choose your opponent's style on top. It's really quite the common feature in 4X type games too. Let us choose to only have warmongering madman on our planets, if we so choose. After all, when seeking pure carnage, having those friendly major regimes around is quite the let down, when instead you could have had one of those fanatics with their massive combat bonus instead that just go wild with rage!

Fighting against all odds, surrounded by vicious lunatics on all fronts is just the kind of experience to be remembered for the ages!

The more I play, the more I'd absolutely love the ability to have better control in setting up the experience ahead. The ability to choose your style of opponents, as well as a total war type mode would sure be great additions to the game!

Everyone at war all teh time? Sounds boring. And unfair for everyone that has 2 majors going for them at the same time.
And I always start between two majors!

Autocracy/Enforcement/Fist or Heart.
Pick the right councils and you are set for a Miltiary Rush that nothing can stand against.
