Leader List sorting error

Post by zgrssd »

I have a odd case where sorting breaks down. Case:

- I filtered by Seniority
- I was on page 2
- I sorted ascending.

What is wrong:
- ideally the previous sorting modus should still apply on page 2. It is the same order as before, just the first 10 or so skipped
- for some reason 100 seniority appears in the list right around 10 seniority. As if that code was doing string comparision on the numbers

Solution sugestion:
Ideally of course you would have a GUI Imitation class that deals with those things for you. One order, wich page to show is a minor display detail.
Failing that, .NET has that full on LINQ support. Wich is basically just "SQL like queries on any collection in memory". Pagination is a pretty much solved issue. I think you have to build it: Total Collection of all Leaders -> Filters -> Sort -> Pagiantion. But I am pretty sure building the "query" piecemeal like that is supported.

Thanks for spotting. will be fixed in upcoming v103 -open beta 4.

It was the CAP Lvl column that copied Textual by error to the columns after it.

well spotted!

Ah, Strings. Causing nothing but headaches.

If we did not need them for user I/O, we would have gotten rid of them decades ago [:D]
