Going after the trucks and looks like two platoons are damaged but went to ground. May gave to take them out wit the second strike now refueling. These guys have done great! Now where are the other Syrians?

So these two earned their pay today! A well deserved RTB.

Now I have a choice, do I wait to bring in the next two IAF strikers, or do I wait until the UAVs sniff out more Syrians before committing them? On one hand would be good to wipe out the last vestiges of the Syrian militia but a hostile Russian frigate gives me pause. I think a quick in and out with two bombs from each aircraft. Besides another wave is inbound.

Ok, so dispatching the second strike group, with two Mavericks left, to finish off the rest of that platoon and set the four UAVs to "Mow the Lawn" to find the rest of the Syrian Battalion.

So some bogies inbound. Popped off four Patriots to warn them off. I don't expect to hit them, just turn them on the defensive while the F-16I's clean up with the Mavericks. Heck I'm not paying for them! [:)]

So the Bogies are inbound again, popped off 6 patriots at three of them from the Haifa Battery and will save the closer Patriots to launch if they get closer. again my goal is to put them on the defensive while the F-16I hits what's left of that platoon with 8 500lb LDGPs. Probably shouldn't waste the bombs but I still have a second wave inbound from the second half of he squadron. So these guys will have 16 500lbers plus the other aircraft when I find the rest of the Syrians. May expand the search area.

They didn't get the message an pressed on. Got one of my Heron UAVs but I got a MiG-23ML. Might be a fair trade? Well maybe not, Russian junk! [:D]

Well this has taken a bad turn! Lost a total of three UAVs and now four Russian SAMs are on my CAP's tail! On the plus side, I did get one more MiG-23. But I'm hoping to not loose a pilot!

Hopefully the end game? Not finding any other Syrians, this is the remnants of the finial platoon that I can find. Given that I only have the one UAV left and my overflights haven't found anything I'm not willing to risk my F-16 pilots to search further, especially with the Russian out there. Wish I has something to hit her with but my orders say no!

On the plus side downed two more MiG-23s. Not been a good day for the Syrian Air Force!

Hit! So now all the manned aircraft will head back into northern Israel and loiter and the remaining UAV will look to see if there are any other targets. Find it hard to believe that is all there was?

The situation with 3:25 left to go not sure if I got all of the Syrians but seams so. Can't hit the Russian frigate, the GBU-54s and 500lb LDGPs don't have the range and it would be suicide against her SAMs. Don't feel the need to go against the Syrian SAM sites. So going to look for a bit more to see if there are any targets I missed then call it a night.

So thoroughly enjoyed the scenario. I liked being able to manage the aircraft without being totally out of control (although I did loose the bubble twice and got lucky to not loose any aircraft)! This is actually what I've been striving for in my scenarios recently. To be honest I might have added some Hezbollah SAM/Ground units, and maybe some IDF artillery and turned it into a mess! I Liked the Russian frigate. Having played a number of prof. Gellis's scenarios I expected a surprise, but figured it would be a Syrian vessel with lesser SAMs.
