Energy storage

Post by Hazard151 »

Playing on v 1.03b3

Storage for items with a storage limit according to the manual is equal to 250+(pop*3). Presuming that population is the raw value/100, I should have a total energy storage capacity of 13 440, but I don't. I don't have anything even nearly close to it.

Territory 1 produces 850 energy, consumes 381, stocks 381 and moves out 469 energy. It provides 576 energy stockage, of which it makes 195 available to the SHQ, but the pop*3 formula would indicate it should be capable of stocking 3 168 energy.

Territory 2 produces 660 energy, consumes 356, stocks 356 and moves out 304 energy. It provides 477 energy stockage, of which it makes 121 available to the SHQ. The pop*3 formula would indicate it should be capable of stocking 2 571 energy.

Territory 3 produces 2275 energy, takes 310 energy from the strategic stockpile, consumes 1534 energy out of a maximum demand of 2910, stocks 1327 and moves out none. It provides no stockage for the SHQ. Pop*3 would indicate a total energy storage capacity of 7701 on the basis of population alone.

My total energy storage capacity is 2 380, or about 18% of what the manual says it should be.

Sorry Hazard. You spotted an error in the manual.

It should have said 250 + (Zone Populace *0.5)

You'll need to build some Power Banks.

best wishes,
Vic

Inconvenient but, alright.

This does mean that high energy demand infrastructure and weapons are soft gated behind the Energy Bank technology. I can work with that.
