No Vichy

Post by Harrybanana »

I am playing a game where my opponent did not accept the Vichy Surrender. This was on the German July 3 turn by the way, so I don't know why people say France is too strong. It may be in the rules somewhere, but can someone tell me if the Germans don't negotiate the Vichy surrender but instead force France to fight on:

1. What will cause France to surrender?
2. What happens to the overseas colonies when France surrenders?
3. What happens to UK units in the French colonies when France surrenders?
4. What happens to the UK units in mainland France when France surrenders?
5. If the answer to either 4 or 5 is that the UK units stay in place, then do they only control the hex they are in, with all other hexes reverting to the Axis?

If no Vichy is accepted....

#1 taking all their mainland cities
#2 I actually forgot?!?! I think they go German except in places there is a UK unit. So you need to occupy those ports.
#3 They take control of the hex
#4 They stay there. They may choose to leave or eat Panzers.
#5 Yup.... but say they occupy all the ports in North Africa. The German hexes will convert to UK ones because they are out of supply next to an in supply enemy one.
