Suddenly no energy storage?

I'm producing lots of energy but suddenly my storage went to zero. Ideas?

Check your zone energy demands. Zones prioritize their own requirements first, and supplement from the SHQ storage. The manual is wrong about how much energy your zones can store, it's not 3*population, it's population/2, and what's left over is offered to the SHQ for use.

If you've got high energy demand facilities running you are going to need at least 1 level of power bank to cover the difference between what your zone generates in storage and what it actually needs. The power bank doesn't need to be build in the high demand zone though.

Most of the SHQ Storage is given to them by Zones that do not need it.
Zones will try to keep 1 turn of full consumption (wich includes construction projects) in Local reserves - by keeping that much storage for themself. It is 2 Turns for food.
Electricy (and this storage transfer) also do not use any Logistics to move.

So apparently the zone needs so much in reserve, it can no longer give anything to your SHQ?
