Team multiplayer networking

Post by tangent »

Hello,

A while back before the decision was made to create AA:HTTR as the next product I remember that there was a discussion of when team multiplayer networking was going to be added to the game system. At the time the consensus was in favor of getting one or more titles out first.

Where does team multiplayer networking fits into the current priorities?

This already impressive game system would be fantastic with such an ability.

Thank you for your attention.

Tangent,

Team Play is one of the new features slotted for Game 4, which will cover Normandy, which we hope to release September 2004.

I presumed your question was about the imminent release of HTTR. HTTR supports single player and one on one via direct connect TCP.

Arjuna,

Will multiplayer include Coop against the AI or just team play.

Thanks,

I would like to see it do co-op against the AI as well as human team v human team. I don't forsee too many problems there, but hey, we haven't really looked into this too deeply yet.
