Autosaves and Autoscreenshots overwrite each other

Post by DTurtle »

I really, really like the automatic saves and the automatic screenshots.

However, I am playing several games at the same time (single player and multiplayer). The created screenshots and the saves of the various games overwrite each other. It is pretty tedious to move the various files every few turns to make sure I keep them.

Please either give them unique names, or give the possibility to set the screenshot and autosave directory for a game to another directory.

No can do.
It could end up eating big amounts of harddisk data over time leading some angry people. With the overwriting there is at least an upper limit.
Just copy the whole directory if you want to be quick.
best wishes,
Vic

That's why I suggested giving the option to change the folder per game in which to save the screenshots/autosaves. That way, if not changed it would just overwrite, but if I change it, then I can keep them all.
