Some feedback on AI

AI makes or breaks the game for me, and SE delivers. There are some issues with AI but nothing even remotely close to game-breaking stupidity of JTS.

1) AI manages retreat really well, and that's quite rare in my experience. It knows when odds are heavily against it and tries to buy time by delaying advancing troops, while doing a rather decent job of avoiding dumb encirclements.
2) AI does have a tendency to place its artillery units on the front line, without any support, which is the main dumb thing it does.
3) AI needs to defend strategic assets and towns better, as I mentioned elsewhere.
4) It mercilessly exploits any opportunity to break supply lines, which is great.
5) It does a decent job of picking defensible terrain and avoid ovestretching.
6) I think it has difficulty managing multiple fronts. This is also a result of poor war declaration strategy.
7) I think it does a good job managing a country and economy.
I need ten females for each male...

just my 2 cents with last beta 1.03-10:

AI economy is a bit scarce (even at hard level)
_I noted a big flaw in water rich planets AI still invest ALOT in water generating structures:
Water is completely useless in this kind of planet , even for selling, when you can have easily +18k just with natural water..

still i have seen AI building like 50% of their structures for water production (ice mines, purification centers, wind traps etc), price of water is 0 since turn 20 ..
