good weather and also nearly 100 bombers attacking this amphib force hitting those old BBs hard... nearly all 800kg penetrated the BB's armor, some hit a main gun turret or the belt and failed to penetrate... damage done is severe, only Colorado seems to be still seaworthy as she was only hit be several 250kg bombs and the couple of 800kg bombs must have hit non critical areas...

Afternoon now and the carriers start launching their attack waves, a big strike of Judies attacking the amphib group that was unloading at Roi Namur hitting them hard... the escorting BBs are nothing but floating wrecks already and this time the bombers also target the high number of troop transports... weather was bad (again [8|]) so I was surprised to see so many hits on the APDs even though I had preferred seeing more attacks on the APA/AKA... looks like I stand corrected as we haven't killed any troops on these ships so all troops must have come ashore in one phase at Roi Namur, they only seem to miss most of their supplies...

Jills were attacking another amphib group, our carriers already start running out of torps as we also see the Jills dropping bombs in this attack... the combat replay was far from over and we see attack after attack, I hardly could believe my eyes at what damage we have been doing since yesterday... first I started to take notes on hits on main targets but soon totally lost track...
really been unhappy about the hit rate here, the torp runs on the cruisers all failed...

Massive explosion on LST-469
enemy carriers were not engaging, the enemy seems to be keeping them away from my force which means we will completely eat the rest of the fleet as all those transports just aren't fast enough to run if the enemy carriers won't engage... our level 5 airfields have been reinforced with bombers so LBA will be ordered to attack the enemy carrier groups with a high number of escorts to take whittle down enemy CAP...
with Hornet taking one torp and Wasp (heavy damage) taking two torps form subs on day one it could well be that due to the already high bomber losses the enemy carriers disengage and move SW to Australia to save them... we have hit the BBs already so hard yesterday and today that they are doomed anyways so I wonder if the carriers will be moved into strike range to save the transports of which several task forces must be carrying troops as only the one at Kwajalein was unloading... seeing only one landing also surprised me, I was expecting at least three simultanous landings in the Marshalls...
we lost another two dozen bombers today but did extreme damage so that was well worth it... on the other hand every bomber counts when we would go up against the Allied carrier groups even though we will for sure outnumber them in both number of carriers and by a big margin in carrier based aircraft due to the losses the enemy took against my land based fighters...
