Who does Turkey ally with?

Post by sveint »

So I tested this.

If I start the 39 scenario and declare war... Turkey allies with France. What happens when France is conquered?

If I start the 42 scenario, Turkey joins the Soviets.

If France is conquered and Soviets are neutral, does Turkey join the UK?

Enquiring minds want to know.

Unless specifically assigned it is the closest active power. So yes UK.

Don't think that I don't know why you are asking, or that I haven't noticed that Alvaro has made it really easy for the axis to invade by leaving undefended a major port 6 hexes from the capital[:-]

He is asking who Turkey aligns to if invaded. You can set the country it aligns too in the editor. If none is set it will take the closest one.

I neither know how to fiddle with the editor, nor even find it, and nor would I want to for a game.

Your thoughts on the empty port of Eregli 192,34, Alvaro? I think you sorted out all the others in the game but this one seem to have been missed. There's another in the south but it's unconnected to the rail/road network but would cut off the rail line that would be the only route by which allied forces could get to Ankara before it fell in T2 or 3.

That port is the wrong size and the rail should be a road. I have to fix that.
