Finding the enemy capital city?

Post by Grotius »

How do I find my major rival's capital city? My spies reveal lots of info about troop disposition and assets, and I see it has several zones (with zone cities), but I'm still not sure which city is the regime's capital. I don't see it in the reports on the regime, either. I'm not sure which direction in which to attack!

Also, is that how one defeats a major regime -- by taking their capital? Or I suppose I could just take enough of its territory that I've got 50% and it's got less than 25%. But if knocking out its capital is quicker, I'll want to do that.

Thanks in advance.

Taking their Capitol will kill their SHQ and their command bunker, not much else.
It is a big blow (killings scores of leaders, loosing them all stockpiled resource and setting them 1 SHQ back in PP), but not a fatal one. As long as they got a city, he can always create a new SHQ!

You have to take every one of his cities, one afer the other.

Click on the different enemy zones in the zone tab. Note the button that says "Regular Zone" or "Unincorporated Zone" - the capital will show something like "Regular Capital Zone," don't recall the exact wording.
