Custom planet designs, please!

I appreciate the planet category limitations, but please allow us to custom tailor planets as well. For example, on planets that qualify for the entire bio range of possibilities, I don't want to reroll for an hour to get that right mix I'm looking for. I would love to be able to choose a planet size, see my astro options, choose, see geo options, choose, then based on those decisions, choose available bio conditions.
I love the fact that conditions are based on planetary/solar(?) characteristics, but absolutely hate that further customization is dependant on mindknumbing rerolls.
I don't know anything about programming, so the changes I seek may be a tall order to ask for, and I'm sure there are higher priorities, but as a new player, this is my biggest gripe, so far.
Really enjoying the game, have already recommended to friends, but would really like to experiment with custom starts.
