A little correction about Italian's MQ-9 Reaper UAVs, U.S. government approves Italy's request to arm its drones (in 2015)
so we can use AGM-114R2 Hellfire II missiles,GBU-12 and GBU-38 (in the db italian's MQ-9 reaper are signed as Unarmed).
Article title from Defence News:"Italy Wins US State Dept. OK To Arm Its Reapers"(cannot post link)

RE: LUCH\Olymp-K sat incorrect location
A correction about DEWS System, it's considered as Early 2000s Technology, and I don't think it's accurate information. Because the first time that DEWS system has been announced is in 2009 as EW Suit for the F-15SE ( Silent Eagle), but the program has been cancelled, but the first contract for the system was in 2012 for the benefit of the F-15SA, and then there was a series of flight test. I'm not sure but I think the flight tests of the fighter finished in 2015/2016.
To further information just search for " BAE Systems to Upgrade EW Capabilities On Saudi Fighter Jets "
Another point I just hope if you can check it, the EPAWSS has Offensive Jamming Capability, but DEWS is just Defensive system, according to the DB.
The bottom line is Boeing has used the United States Air Force document which calls " Eagle Passive/Active Warning Survivability System(EPAWSS) " they used it in drawing up their requirements for DEWS.
And I quote
" DEWS also meets or exceeds the requirements identified by the U.S. Air Force for a future EW system for its F-15s, says Ron Martinez, Boeing’s chief scientist for airborne electronic attack and EW development on the F-15 and F/A-18. Boeing used the Air Force’s capability
development document for the Eagle Passive and Active Warning and Survivability System in drawing up its requirements for DEWS "
Unfortunately, I can't add links.

DB v480
Weapon #2585 - SA-23b Giant [9M82M]
Max target speed is set at 6500kts, approx. 3,3 km/s. This is correct for the older 9M82 but the upgraded 9M82M was designed for interceptions of targets going at speeds up to 4,5 km/s, or 7800kts. Other sources quote a 4,7km/s treshold.

Egyptian F-16's Block-52 can also be equipped with conformal fuel tanks.
#3721 - F-16DJ Blke 52 Falcon (Egypt -2015)

The Israeli Sa'ar 5 corvettes still have the EL/M-2258 Alpha radar in the database.
This is replaced by the EL/M-2248 M-STAR AESA radar.
Ship in database: #2497 - 501 Eilat [Saar 5] - 2014, Barak 8
Description
The MF-STAR (EL/M-2248) is a multi-function solid-state active phased array radar system for the new generation of naval platforms. The radar system delivers high quality situation picture and weapon support, under severe target/ environmental conditions in the current and future naval arena.
Incorporating advanced technology and robust system architecture, the MF-STAR employs multi-beam and pulse Doppler techniques as-well-as robust ECCM techniques to extract low RCS targets from complex clutter and jamming environments.
The MF-STAR antenna includes 4 active arrays in S-band frequency. The hardware architecture and technology ensure high system availability, low maintenance and low life cycle cost.
Automatic track initiation:
- Low flying attacking missile >25 km
- High flying fighter aircraft >250 km

#2498 - 340 Hetz [Saar 4.5. Nirit Upgrade] (Israel - 207)
The types of decoys named in this message is more expanded than now present in the database.
Unfortunately I have only one source. So decide for yourself to incorporate it or not.
Message:
The #IDF Sa'ar 4.5 class FACM are protected by 140 decoys of 6 different types that are launched from 3 different decoy launchers!

Now present is only one type (BT-4) of short range chaff, and flares & wizzard floating decoys.
Extra mentioned in article are:
medium (MRCR) & long-range (LRCR) chaff and acoustic decoys.
Lescut acousitc decoys:

MIRCR decoys (Medium-Range Chaff Rocket) - no data on ranges
LRCR (Long-range Chaff Rocket) - no data on ranges
If 140 is the total amount of decoys, you have to use creative math to distribute all [;)]?

RE: Stickied thread for minor database issues?
Once you start, you find more.. so I have an additional subject about the TALD decoys:
#1865 - ADM-141A TALD [Active RF]
#625 - ADM-141B TALD [chaff]
#881 - ADM-141C ITALD [Active RF]
In the database, only the USA is a user and especifically the US Navy.
The ADM-141B even has no default weapon carrier platforms?
To add a user platform:
#9 - S-3B Viking (United States - 1990) is also capable of launching ADM-141 TALD from its TER pylons during Desert Storm:
https://twitter.com/AncientSubHunt/status/954007508020064256
Photo included in the tweet.
The International Electronic Countermeasures Handbook (google books) on page 61 states the US and Israel as users.
http://www.deagel.com/Protection-Systems/ITALD_a001044002.aspx mentions the F-16I Soufa as platform.
The Israel's Defense Directory 2013 gives it the name ATALD on page 77.
The ITALS has been integrated with tactical aircraft from the Israel Air Force and the US Navy according to http://www.deagel.com/Protection-Systems/ITALD_a001044002.aspx
They even talk about a MSOV in the family.
Description: The MSOV is a standoff air-launched glider dispenser designed to counter SAM sites, airfields, etc. Its modular-warhead can dispense a wide range of submunitions such as anti-tank mines, dual-purpose bomblets, and anti-runaways penetrators. Once released, an INS/GPS guidance system leads the MSOV through its target. The MSOV has been certified for the F-4, F-15 and F-16 aircraft and is currently in service with the Air Force of Israel. The MSOV is the Israeli counterpart to Apache and JSOW glider dispensers.

#2904 - SSM Sec [LORA] (Israel-2008)
The Lora missile in the database has a range of 150Nm / 277 km.
These sources state 90-400 km / 48-216Nm.
The missile uses a jam-resistant GPS-based navigation system aided by an inertial navigation system, delivering hit accuracy less than 10 meters. The missile carries a blast-fragmentation warhead of > 200 kg of weight. (warhead in database is 500kg.)
Quote:
LoRA missiles were publically displayed in Azerbaijan in 2018, where it is operated under the Azeri Missile Troops. Although quoted there is a range of 300 km and accuracy of 20 m. (export specs??).

RE: Stickied thread for minor database issues?
I found some useful tech data about:
#2441 - ADM-160B MALD [Active RF] and #2442 - ADM-160C MALD-J [Stand-in OECM]
Especially page 7, 16 and 17 are useful. Please have a look at https://ndiastorage.blob.core.usgovcloudapi.net/ndia/2010/targets/Rutt.pdf
The MALD-J has a Early 1990s ELINT & 1980s Technology OECM. When delivererd between 2012 and 2013 could this tech level be on par with this timeframe?
Also a patform that is not yet in the database is the C-130. In 2011 the USAF performed air-drops.
MCALS has a steel, birdcage-like framework body that can hold as many as eight MALDs. MCALS is loaded on a standard cargo pallet, placed on a transport aircraft, and at a pre-determined altitude rapidly ejects the MALDs, which then initiate a standard wing deployment and engine ignition sequence.
https://raytheon.mediaroom.com/index.php?s=43&item=1827
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=OmG5Q4i5R3s
Other platforms are: In February 2013, Raytheon and General Atomics Aeronautical Systems partnered to integrate MALD into Predator B/MQ-9 Reaper Remotely Piloted Aircraft (RPA). https://www.airforce-technology.com/projects/miniature-air-launched-decoy-mald-flight-vehicle/
There is also a new variant, the MALD-N derived from the MALD-X program.
Description:
with the ability to accommodate different electronic warfare payloads that are more advanced than those found on MALD-J. What is planned to come out is a networked decoy that can use its adaptive electronic warfare payload to deliver electronic attacks on air defense nodes autonomously or at the direction of operators from a afar in a semi-autonomous fashion.
This advanced MALD derivative will also be able to be re-tasked in real time via an onboard data-link and will capable of low altitude penetration through enemy territory. The data-link is really key here. It totally changes the nature of the MALD mission from a pre-planned route flying decoy to a dynamic player that can be ordered to adapt to a changing electronic order of battle on the fly.

RE: Stickied thread for minor database issues?
The weight of Shilka as cargo (dbid 329) is 3000t and consists of 21 crew members. Does that represent a whole unit or is it a mistake to be fixed?
The weight of "Train Car(dbid 2982)" and "Train Engine(dbid 2983)" should be around 100T, instead of 8T. Its area should be comparable of two trucks.

RE: Stickied thread for minor database issues?
Could we get an entry for the A-7F Corsair II hypothetical platform please?
See this article from the Drive: https://www.thedrive.com/the-war-zone/3 ... ng-program
Doesn't give a lot of specifics but I think using DB 3028 (A-7K LANA) as the base, adding an after burning F100-220 engine, longer range and a few more modern weapons would do it.
