Morale boost and conquest of Denmark/Norway via event

I seem to remember something about this new game having events for the conquest of Norway and Denmark, rather than having to actually do it as per the old game.

Does conquest via event still provide the morale bonus for conquered countries?

No, if it is scripted there is no conquest national morale bonus for countries as there would be from the normal game surrender mechanic.
