Not sure what is going on here but I've just got to hope. The Germans start with 7 oil. They saved three, two to production and and one to Italy should give them 10 less one to reorganise. But oil is showing at 9 before reorganisation... I'll just carry on and hope for the best...

Germany

All convoys in the Baltic

Italy

The convoy in the Italian Coast together with the battleship/cruiser force.

Japan

All convoys in the Sea of Japan, Japanese Coast, China Sea, South China Sea and The Marianas

STAY AT SEA - ALLIES

Commonwealth

The CW keeps convoy cover in place

France

The French keep their ships at sea in both basins of the Med

RETURN TO BASE - AXIS

Germany

I am assuming the German SUB goes to Genoa as Milan in not on the coast
Italy

The two Italian SUBs return to La Spezia

Japan

The Japanese returns a TRS to Fukuoka

RETURN TO BASE - ALLIES

As usual I make a mistake with one of the convoys lines - but I'm not going back to fix it. Otherwise surplus units and those in the 0-box head from Plymouth, Gib and Port Said

A TERR heads for British Somaliland, an empty TRS goes to South Africa

France

No orders for Algerie so I'll pop her back to Marseilles

USA

A TRS heads for San Diego

USE OIL - ALLIES

Nothing to reorganise for the Chinese and USSR. The Commonwealth expend 2 points and are able to re-organise all except one C-class cruiser. I use two of the NEI oil as these caused issues last turn....

FINAL PRODUCTION

The Build points all look as they should (still concerned about German oil though) so I continue to the next phase

PRODUCTION - AXIS

Production is as per below (bottom right of each box). The Japanese also scrap a lousy LND.

MEMO ITEM:
AXIS

Oil

Italy: 6 oil** total - 3 oil in Milan, 3 in Rome.
Japan: 9 oil total - 3 oil in Tokyo, 2 in Osaka, 1 oil in each of Canton, Kyoto, Nagoya, and Sendai
Germany: 9 oil* total - 4 oil in Berlin, 2 oil in Prague, 1 oil in Vienna, 1 oil in Bratislava, and 1 oil in Breslau.

*The good news is that this has worked. The odd reporting hasn't worked itself through to the actual oil available.
**The bad news is that Production Planning shows the Italians starting with 5 (but with 8 controlled - by my reckoning it should be 6 and 8 respectively)

USA - 6 Oil (1 x Louisville, Nashville, Memphis, 3 x Charleston)
USSR - 6 Oil (1 x Stalinsk, Barnaul, Semipalatinsk, 3 x Alma Ata)

The Soviet claim to Bessarabia is allowed.

The German peace loving people thinks that appeasement is the future, in contrast to the warmongering British. Therefore other nations than Germany have to make some sacrifice to achieve world peace. Had Britain, and France, not been so power hungry there wouldn't have been a conflict over Bessarabia in the first place. But they like to dictate, and dominate, the entire world. The German, and Soviet people, now say to them that enough is enough. No more wars to subsidy British, and French, colonialism.

Peace in our time.

Nothing further from France, USSR and China until land movement.

The Communists shuffle two units around and the Soviets move three units at the Bessarabian border.

Southern China post movement.

The French rebase the MS 406 at Paris a couple of hexes east.

No combat.

The Soviets rebase the Pe-8 from Kiev as far east as they can. Two LND fly from Odessa to Vilna. A FTR on the rail junction at the Bessarabian border flies back to Odessa.

No reorgs.

Back to the Axis.

The German U-boat finds, but the CW escort is attacking the U-boat as soon as it launces its torpedoes. (Axis 1, Allies 2)

Germany save their two surprise points to increase the damage done.

The U-boat is aborted on a roll of 2.

One Allied CP is sunk. In order to proceed I am assuming it is the French CP that is sunk. If it is not I will go back and change it.
