New History stuff

Post by Twotribes »

I am using area of peace Robinson Cuorso and the one that spawns lots of minors.

Slowly figuring out how to handle unhappiness, think I got it now, then suddenly my logistic net crashed fixed that and now I am almost out of power. LOL one thing after another. Also the minors have a BAZILLION MILITIA. I am fighting 3 minors right now I have gotten like 6 to join me. One joined and had like 25 militia units that's what crashed my logistics net ). I also got a minor with no city to join me it's Governor says -1 as zone in list of governors. He also had like 15 militia so same deal as the one with 25 big time hit on Logistics.

None of the minors I am fighting have current troops as far as I can tell so my militia are still useful. Gonna send them all to garrison cities I have 9 or 10 cities right now.

So are you saying that when a Regime joins yours (Non-aggression Pact?) i have not got this far into the game yet. If they travel through your zone or are fighting with you they also use up your logistic points if its your logi network is the closest to them?

Once a minor joins you they cease to exist as a separate force you supply them. So make sure you are prepared to extend a road to their city if not already connected. The advantage to getting them to join is the city is happy and you get all the militia. The draw back is you don't get 1 fate point for conquering the city.

Okay so you are talking about conquering the city by military means only? or is it possible to get them to join like this also via a specific Stratagem?

You can peaceably get minors to join YES You don't attack them you use Minor cards to get them to JOIN you. My above post talks about BOTH getting them to join or conquering them.

Minors aren't getting "current troops", instead they receive a tiny stat boost every turn. It could lead to surprises if combined with difficulty bonuses.

This is a bug, post it with details in bug section. Are you annexed slaver? Or "normal" minor somehow lost their city? (it's happening sometimes too)

Do you know that able to disband unwanted militia units? [:D]

Unsure that it isn't a bug*, but if you move militia unit into hex with your SHQ - you could transfer all sub-units into SHQ. This will disband militia unit itself then all you need is to scrap militia forced in your SHQ.

Dunno will we get resources for scrapping them but it's definitely help to get rid of stupid infantry hordes.

*99% sure that this IS a bug. But well, I glad to use it [8|]
