With those die rolls, retreat was not possible! [:)]

However, if any units had survived, then yes, retreat would have been possible for both stacks.
I thought I knew how to play this game....

Both miss (Allied 9, Axis 3). It was good to take CP away from sea area.

Believe it or not, M/A '42 is supposed to be the "average" turn the US passes the War Appropriations bill It always feels late to me, but that is what I have heard. I have seen the US pass WA much earlier, but never much later, so I, personally am not at all sure of that average statement.
I thought I knew how to play this game....
