Profiles are separated into four (4) groups, with three (3) profiles each. Profiles describe the attitudes of leaders and factions; also the particular form of a regime.
Regime Profile
Regime Profiles are scored and represent the current state of a regime. Each Regime Profile is number scored between 0 and 100.
Maintaining any Regime Profile score above 40 results in the award of Regime Feats. Regimes Feats are tiered at scores of 40, 50, 60, etc. If the score drops below 40, the feat is lost.

Player Control
- Profiles are used in two (2) separate contexts within the game.
(1) As a belief and preference for leaders and factions. This is measured on a spectrum between strongly disagree (---) and strongly agree (+++).
Example, the Deadhead Armed Crew faction is Meritocracy++, therefore they agree the regime should be governed in accordance with Meritocracy's doctrine.
(2) As Regime Profiles, a measure of relative performance. Combined, they represent the form of the regime.
Example, the ratio of scores in the Profile Overview Report indicate how the regime is operating at the time. Meritocracy score is 75, therefore the regime is governed in accordance with Meritocracy's doctrine at that level and relative to the other two Politics Group profile scores.
Given the contexts, using choices, the player changes the latter and suffers the former, in order to acquire desired Regime Feats (and other benefits).
Dominant Profile
Each Regime Profile maintains a dominance over another.
- Dominance is indicated in the above Profile List by Group according to the profile's suppression of another profile.
For example, Heart, the dominant profile, suppresses Fist, its target.
The dominance relationships within profile groups are circular in terms of suppression effects. However, within each group, the sum of the profile scores might not strictly equal 100.
Each turn, a majority dominant profile imposes a suppression effect on its minority target.
Over time (i.e. turns), the minority target profile shall not retain a score higher than 100 minus the majority dominant profile's score.
For example, if Heart score is 70, Fist shall be reduced to a maximum score of 30.
The suppression effect is gradual, between 1 and 20% of the difference, per turn.
Due to the discord, each turn, the dominant profile is also repressed by half the value of its suppression effect.
Declaration of War
Declarations of War increase Fist.
- The Fist increase is proportional to the diplomatic relation with the adversary.
For example, lower relation scores, result in a lower fist increases. - The Fist increase is amplified with Major Regimes.
For example, declaration of war against a major regime with a high diplomatic relation score results in a more significant fist increase. - Ignoring treaties, such as breaking a non-aggression pacts, results in the largest fist increases.
