You are a genius sir. Thank you so much! All up and running. Not sure why Seabee won't work but at least this does.

Thanks for the quick response. I've got a monitor that runs 2560x1440. I've set up the SeaBee app according to the various guides. I've even tried my own settings within the Seabee app but nothing changes. The resolution is always such that all the fonts and boxes are too big or have green covering them which makes them hard to read or see. I took a SS but it won't load here for some reason.

Here is the setting I've tried most recently:

SingleCpuStart
CPU1
deepColor
dd_sw
multiaudio
wd
Force resolution: Yes
2550x1440
altFont
skipVideo
Beta release: No

Again, I've gone down the line on resolution, but nothing changes. I'm probably dumb, I realize this...

Edit: The program won't even go into windowed mode, always FS.

Good to see you're running, but 2 things I noticed in the above listing -

1 - Did you want SingleCpuStart? Or SingleCpuOrders? I've never seen SingleCpuStart.

2 - Did you want 2550x1440, or 2560x1440?

Thanks for this most useful SeaBee config tool! [8D]

Today, after many years I was reinstalling the game on a new Win10 AMD R7-3700X computer and it was a piece of cake to get it going again in no time. Installed the 1126a update first, then the 1126b unofficial beta update on top. My screen res is 1920x1200. Game seems to allow playing in fullscreen mode without problems, I can ALT-TAB in and out without issues and all graphics appear to be perfectly fine. From reading the forums I was expecting all sorts of troubles with WitPAE under up-to-date Windows 10 but as far as I can tell none of that popped up. Now I only have to finally learn to play the game, LOL.

Any chance of releasing a version of SeaBee that works without the mandatory update check? I play my games on my offline computer and thus cannot use this tool.
I know how to apply the various commands manually but obviously SeaBee make this a lot easier.

I didn't spend 2 hours trying to make this game work. I tried for about 15 minutes using all the old things. NOT SURE why my old fixes didn't work and my old shortcut, but they did not.

Tried Seabee and it worked like a champ for me. I might need to do a little tweaking, but after 15 minutes had decided to just not ever play it. I am unsure why this game and no others has such issues. But, it is fixed, so thank you, thank you, thank you.

It's because it's over 10 years old and was designed for earlier versions of Windows, not Windows 10.

Tried to run SeaBee. However, it seems that it will not work without internet hook up. Is that correct?

Figured it out, thanks. A screen comes up and says that you must check for updates. No other way forward except exit. Clicked on "Check" but no internet means no go. So I just closed out and restarted application. It worked or at least displayed screen shown in forum where one would set options/switches.

Well maybe did not figure it out. It ran or at least appeared to run as mentioned in last post. However, it does not anymore. It just takes me to first time you need to update. With no internet connection you can not update so once again stuck on opening first time screen.

The one time it did show it displayed the radio button for "Archive" activated. However, files were just dumping into Save folder and making a mess.

Have manually added an archive subfolder under save and have manually added switch -archive. Will see if that solves problem and puts txt report files into an archive folder.

Ok downloaded Seabees and extracted it and 'ran' it

Doesn't seem to do anything.

I need even more baby instructions that what is given in your link. I run the program, then exit. Nothing. I try running Seabees and keep it running while loading the game. Nothing.

My computer skills, while not nothing...I had no problem using Chemkids map and getting it going...but beyond that bare minimum, I know nothing.

What am I doing wrong with the Seabee program?

Edit - Found the shortcut it then tries to browse, doesn't find what it needs and asks if it can fix it. I say yes then run the shortcut and it gives errors saying it can't find data.

Edit 2 - I think I figured it out. I had to remove 'Beta2' from the shortcut so it could find it. It seems to be doing something :)

You need to run the game from the shortcut.

Seebee itself sets up the switches so the game runs just a little bit [;)] better.

Please read the description on what it does. [8|]

Hi guys can anybody suggest the best options to use on SeaBee for my current PC setup? Here are my system specs and I am using a resolution of 3840x2160. Any help will be much appreciated.

I downloaded and ran SeaBea with WinExplorer and got into WITP but it cuts off the bottom of the screen. No way as I see to fix that as it seems to be a size problem. My laptop has a wide monitor and I am not sure it knows hot to handle it. I can run the game without it, but the frame is small and hard to read.

Thanks, good to hear from you. RHS is continuously worked on. Did you try RHS scenario 129 by any chance?

Yes, a couple of years ago I had a pbem going with 129. I think that it was a little too much for my opponent. So we stopped. These days I'm too busy with other projects to start a new pbem. How is your health these days?....GP
