Out of supply armour

In one of my pbems I expended a supply truck on one of my armour units but than advanced it too aggressively. On my next turn my armour was out of supply as it was too far beyond my rail head. But what surprised me is that it still had it's full OPs. I believe a similar thing happened to one of my opponents in a different game. Is this WAD? Is it because I expended the supply truck, or does armour always get its full OPs even when out of supply?

It's due the supply truck. If you start in supply you get 3 supply points. If you use a truck, the unit will have 4 supply points. So if after your movement you become out of supply, you will be lowered to 3 supply points, but as this is the standard supply level, your unit will still have its full OP.

Thanks. I wish I knew that in our game when my infantry were retreating through Iraq and kept being put out of supply by rail sabotage.
