As they say "we have just one small problem..." and that's to do with playback of the intro movies. We're working on it and hope to sign off and go gold by Friday.

In our final testing all went OK right up to the last multi-player test. Then we got a crash on a new machine running XP Pro. We're still working on this, but Paul and I will be away for ten days. So it will have to wait till we get back. I'll post then. cya

STILL looking forward to an answer... it seems to have gone suspiciously quiet on this.

And any news on a UK release ? I'm a huge fan of AA, but if the only option is ordering direct from Matrix I have no intention of paying double (which is effectively what your ONE shipping option outside the US entails - what's wrong with USPS ? ) for a game large chunks of which I effectively have ALREADY paid for once already.

"suspiciously quiet"

"Quiet" - yes. "Suspiciously" - no.

Dave and Paul, too, had a few days of vacation time scheduled and took it. Immediately prior to their departure, they were both furiously working on going gold. Dave will be back soon to address these and other questions.

Can't comment on the 'trade-in' deal (Arjuna's last post on that suggested the deal was still being finalised) but UK distribution should be through 'JustPlay' who have already published 'Uncommon Valour' and 'Korsun Pocket' by Matrix in the recent past.
Thankyou for using the World Wide Web. British designed, given freely to the World.

That would be good. JustPlay did a great job with Korsun Pocket and Titans of Steel. I just hope a JustPlay release of AA:HtR follows the US release as quickly as those games did.
