Artillery in Infantry Divisions

Hello, I have a question: if I add artillery equipment to an infantry division, would it be able to both bombard up to the artillery's range AND attack normally?

Hello, I have a question: if I add artillery equipment to an infantry division, would it be able to both bombard up to the artillery's range AND attack normally?

Assuming the division has a normal "Infantry" icon, it would not be able to bombard at range. This is useful for situations where the force historically lacked the trained personnel for figuring ranged fire, and used most of its artillery in a direct fire mode (Soviets in WWII).
