Cannot play any saves due to version conflict

Hello. While playing a scenario, my backup program kicked in
and somehow crashed the game. It froze up. Could not shut it
down in Task Manager so I rebooted the PC. When I started TotH
and tried to start latest saved game, TotH will freeze. So, I
rebooted my PC then figuring TotH is now corrupted, I removed
TotH then reinstalled. Also, updated to the latest version of
1.1.09 which I was using, then tried to play my saved game but
now I get,

"Sorry, the saved game was created with previous version of Tigers
on the Hunt and it is not compatible with the current version."

I also re-loaded the two DLC's I had to see if that made a difference
but to no avail.

None of my game saves nor the scenarios I have translated from
ASL to TotH will load. Everything is a total loss due to the
version conflict.

Does anybody have a suggestion to get around the version conflict
that should not exist?[&:]

Try installing the Beta version 1.1.21 from here

Paullus, that worked! The 1.1.21 Beta was not posted for TotH so I assumed
v1.1.09 was the latest because that is posted. Thanks for the fix![:)]

Well, now that I am able to load all the saves there's still the problem
that led me to remove and re-install the TotH program because I though the
game was corrupted.

The game crashed on turn 13 when there seems to be a conflict with Carbonite
running in the background uploading files. Normally, it just slows the game
along with my anti-virus when it starts a scan but never crashed before.

Now, my latest save, turn 13, will freeze the game and TotH is no longer responsive.
Figuring the saved file 13 is corrupt I loaded turn 12 save which loaded fine.

So, I replayed turn 12 so that I can proceed to turn 13 but the game still
crashes. Every time the game proceeds to turn 13 after completing turn 12 it
locks up. So, I can't load the turn 13 save manually nor can TotH move on to
turn 13 after turn 12 without crashing.

As much as I hate to do it, I considered starting the game over from turn 1
but I worry that when I get to turn 13 again it will crash.

Seems TotH "remembers" the crash during turn 13 of the scenario and will never
let me proceed. It's so odd I doubt there's a fix and I will never be able to
complete the scenario unless there's a way to make TotH and/or my PC forget.[:(]

Could be that the game got corrupted at an earlier time. Do you have a save file from Turn 11 or earlier to try?

Paullus, you did it again, your suggestion fixed it. The problem was in
the preceding turn 12 because turn 11 let me play through turn 13 then 14.
