Just bought the game and I'm reading through the rules. What is an LCU?

LCU= Land Combat Unit. Divisions, regiments, brigades, etc.

We have a handy glossary of abbreviations and game terms available here at this link. You will be encountering more of them in time. [8D]

It's a game. Nothing bad really happens. You say to your opponent LCU when it's over.

I thought LCU was a "Landing Craft Unit", those amphib "boats" where the marines storm out of to invade the beach.

LST - landing ship tank
LCT- landing craft tank
LCI - landing craft infantry
LSD - landing ship dock (the drug hadn't been invented yet)

LSD - landing ship dock (the drug hadn't been invented yet)

Yup, Lysergic Acid Diethylamide. It is a black fungus and harder to see on Rye. In the middle ages when a village would share a bakery, whole villages would be tripping. Yes, they were all possessed by the Devil.
