Present Version of the Game

Just reinstalled the game. Haven't played in a while. I've read that their are some beta patches, however, what is the latest version of the official game. I have v1.8.1126a July 10 2016 installed at the moment.

Version 1126a is the current official version.

The 1126a version was updated with almost all the changes that are in the Beta before the former was made official.

If you want the Beta, it is available here in the Tech section for download. It installs to a different directory and puts its own shortcut to the game executable file on the desktop.

The shortcut that the OFFICIAL version puts on the desktop points to a Menu of things rather than the game executable. You have to create a new shortcut from the game executable file (right click on it) before you can add the text "switches" that make the game work well with Win 10 and new technology in processors and video. There is an entire thread on that in this forum.
