OK I've been focusing on the india/Burma campaign for the most part while neglecting to talk about what im doing elsewhere. This has been mainly due to a general lack of action in other fronts, but I think its high time I give a better over view of the overall perimeter defense. I'll start with the SW pacific and then move counter clockwise up to the Marshals and then the Aleutians, before ending with my defense of the SRA.
I have 2 groups of 27 Zeros and 1 group of 36 zeros and 72 betties defending the region along with some recon assets. Naval forces consist mainly of the 4 CAs of the Furutaka and Aoba Class, 8 DDs and 2 CLs based out of Truk.

Central pacific
I have a squadron of 27 Betties on naval search and around 18 H6ks providing recon.
I have no real naval TFs in the area. I plan to send the next batch of SNLF guards in 19 days to this area to defend the four forward bases of interest. Extra SNLF units will go the SW Pacific area.
I almost forgot to mention wake island which is defended by 2 SNLF guards and a Construction unit building forts. An AV is also present to fly H8K search planes.

heres the defense of the North pacific which current has a TF of 5 CLs and 4 DDs assigned to protect resupply. Once the air fields are more built up ill send some fighters as well. 5 subs are assigned to patrol near Kodiak and Cold bay.

I have a question to ask you guys, in a PDU on game do you guys build the Ruffe? I'm kinda conflicted if I wanna build it at all, or just upgrade the factory to A6M5.

The southern offensive in China aimed at Cutting off Changsha also begins today with 120k troops marching towards Hengyang. They are backed up by 126 G4Ms, 54 Ki27s, 36 Zeros, over 100 K-43s, and 60 Single engine bombers. This should be enough to seriously hamper Chinese mobility and cause some serious fatigue and disruption to Chinese units. Ill post more on this in a bit.

March 19th
Today the last of the BBs was finished off near Cochin. Its taken around 35 bombs and 4 torpedos to kill her, but she is finally dead. A wreath will be dropped on the site of her demise on the following day commemorating the bravery of her crew and the air men who died bringing her down. By the time she was sunk her AA capabilities had been reduced from 800 ish down to a pitiful 178..... truly a testament to the death by a hundred cuts she recieved.

I'm starting to run out of Ammo, so im going to conduct one final port strike on ships anchored in Goa (likely due to their damage) and then retire south to Sinapore to replenish my air groups and rearm. The Akagi, Kaga, Junyo and Nishin, who were formerly defending landings at islands west of Java will protect landings in South India while Carrier Division 2 and 3 rearm.

I mentioned I would talk more about china and here is a picture. The reason Im going a northern route near Ichang is due to both minimal Chinese troop concentrations, and due to sizable troop concentrations not shown on the map currently that are known to be guarding the good road north of Changsha. All combat in this area is difficult due to bad terrain and stacking limits, so im trying to avoid it as much as possible and out maneuver him hopefully.

RE: RA Soulsilver (J)vs Deaniks (A)
I'll give a brief overview of my future carrier divisions for reference when I'm taking about them.
Carrier Division 1: Akagi, Kaga, Ryoujo
Carrier Division 2: Hiryu, Soryu, Zhou
carrier Division 3 Shokaku, Zuikaku, Shoho
Carrier Division 4 Junyo, Hiyo, Nishin (eventually will be replace by Ryhou, also Junyo is currently part of carrier division 1 until Hiyo arrives)
Carrier Division 5 Kaimon, Taikaku, Nishin (these are the new Shokaku kai class carriers that will arrive in August)
each carrier TF has 2 CV, 1 CVL, 2 BB/CA, 1 CL, and 4-8 DDs ideally of the Akizuki class.
The Hosho, and Taiyo are currently in a TF together armed entirely with fighters for invasion protection. It was Hosho and Taiyo's fighters that shot down 20 allied planes yesterday in Ceylon. I have a few APs i can convert to taiyo class carriers along with a single purpose built CVE in the build queue which will get added to this carrier TF.

hmmmm I recently saw a battleship at Perth, but its now gone. I get the feeling that now that Dean knows were my carriers are, that hes gonna try to raid me either in the SW pacific or the Aleutians. considering that I know that his carriers are based out of Melbourne the most likely target is the Pacific SW. Im gonna hold off any ship heading towards there for a bit at least until his carriers show their face. I have pretty good Nav search in the area, along with 90 G4M/G3M and 90 ish Zeros. hopefully thats enough.
He already raided the marshal's about a month ago and got literally nothing, only scoring a single non fatal bomb hit on a sub.... I doubt he will try that again any time soon.
Also Port Eoresby is being reconed every day by several allied planes. In fact its the only place on the entire map where he is using his recon to scout bases, so I get the feeling he wants to strike in that area.

March 22nd
Not a ton to report today, A sub launched at at one of my Cruiser Mine layers heading to Russel Island and missed. I already have mine tenders stationed at Russel and Rabaul to service the mine fields there. Troops are getting ready to land at Cochin, ill send a picture next turn when my transports are almost in position.
Other than that normal air attacks in china plaster retreating Chinese troops.
the most interesting thing that occurring is the spotting of a convoy heading north from Perth containing 4-5 CLs. I suspect that it contains reinforcements from Australia trying to get to India. I have Carrier Division 1 on an intercept course to hopefully nip the problem in the bud.
In india some troops retreating from Dacca got rolled over by tanks

March 23rd
Chittagong reaches Level 2 Aiport, so sweeps will begin tommorow, no ground combat this turn, as troops are chasing after the chinese and Indian troops.
Next turn should be more spicy tho.
I spotted two cargo ships near Ceylon today as well, so im going to go investigate with Carrier division 3 while carrier division 2 continues to head for home.
