Proposed Troop Stats

Post by andyinkuwait »

How do I find out soft attack/hard attack data for proposed new troops?

I want to compare the proposed new troops with my current rabble.

I think if you want totally new troops you have to design one and research it to see what it has, existing troops are in Mng section.

Yeah, I just wanted to see the difference between militia and regular troops.

I don't think I have to research regular troops do I?

Militia units won't be on MNG window. select the militia unit, the bottom tab select the one that shows you the unit detail. and you can see the composition of the unit(like 300x militia, 200x militia mg) click on these icons an you can see their operational values like soft attack, HP, and so on. The same window shows up when you click the unit icon in Model/MNG window.
Regular type of light infantry, mg, buggies, and truck are ready at the beginning. For attack value, just compare the firepower value of the weapon, if it doubles the values of the old weapon, then when you made a new design, the new attack value is going to be at least double the old value(if a design roll on weapon didn't improve on previous design).

Thanks for that.

On hit point data there seems to be two numbers i83/83 for example.

What does this mean?

If you want new armor or weapons then yes you need to research troops but you don't have to make them from scratch if your base design is good just keep it.

What does this mean?
The first one its vs Infantry and the second one its vs armored. For example, tanks with 25mm armor without side skirts usually have 150/300 hp, that means than if an infantry attacks them, their hard attack its going to being compared against the 150hp of the light tank.
