Auto Convoy set up Question

Do the cargo ships have to start is Osaka exclusively to be selected or can they be in the port which you want to set up the auto convoy from ?

Been so long, I can't remember ......

Players recommend that you stay away from auto-convoy. I've never used it. Use continuous convoy instead.

I think the answer is that Osaka is the only port they will egress loaded (unless they are bringing some raw materials back from where they are making the delivery).

It is certainly the case that US sourced convoys only load at SF.

I agree with rustyi though, auto-convoy is for back areas - the CS convoy settings are better for managing logistics.
