How to make diplomatic agreements "stick"?

Post by spacht »

I'm trying to enter into friendship and trade agreements with some major regimes and they ALWAYS cancel the pact on the next turn after heartily agreeing to it. The regimes in question are realpolitikers and corporatists with "100 friend" relations, who are supposedly the most reasonable of the bunch. And there isn't even a reason stated for the cancellation.

It is because of some incompatibility with my regime, i.e. will republicans never stay allied with a politburo or something like that?

Not found a way. Rarely bother with any of them now as they just get negated on the next turn.
