Playtesters Wanted

Post by wdolson »

I've been contacted with someone who is developing a wargame and needs some playtesters with experience playing complex wargames. If anyone is interested, please PM me with your email address and I'll pass on your contact info. Signing an NDA (non-disclosure agreement) will be required.

You weren't supposed to disclose that.

Hum, enough to generate a few real issues per week ? Say 5 hours per week for several months ? That sounds like the minimum.

That does not sound like much. Now if I only had a job to interfere with something like that!

Sounds like it'd be fun. Alas, my job (babysitting my grandson) eats up much of my free time. And believe me its not a whole lot of time, but I've slowed down of late.

I would likely volunteer if I knew the time/unit sale of the game.

I would not like to waste the developers' time by "volunteering", signing a NDA etc, then finding out its a sub-operational level game at battalion scale that didn't hold interest.

Or that it had spiffy 3D images of an out of scale tank representing an armoured division on an area map with pretty terrain features. Trees and such.

On the other hand, if it was a strategic level game with NATO icon style unit indicators, of the Grigsby variety, I'd be able to put some time into it.

If there are are no other hints, it's a bit of a coin toss.

As fast as I play lately, I'd slow down the whole project by a year or more.

A young mother and her young sun was walking in a cemetery, looking at the names, dates, and anything written on the tombstones. They came upon one that stated : "Her lies a lawyer and an honest man." The boy turned to his mother and asked her "Why did they bury two people in that one grave?"
