Can't find Spain in Japan diplomacy's screen. (solved)

Playing WaW main campaign v1.07 in hotseat.

Spain is in the country scroll list for Germany and Italy diplomacy but I can only see Spanish Guinea for Japan.
I tried to look at E in the list for Espagne or Espana but nothing there [:D].
Can anybody else confirm this (or maybe it was intended for some reason) ?

YeH ... it is to stop Axis getting Spain in too easily, like the chit restriction. Basically, it covers off gamey strategies from earlier versions.

Turkey is a handy alternative!

Well doing the math it sure looks like a lost cause to invest in Spain given the diplo chit balance after the fall of France.
(UK + China should more or less cancel Germany + Italy)
Not sure it's better for Allies to have Axis go for that strategic fig supply though [:D] .
