What's the red sprite

Fury Games has now signed with Matrix Games, and we are working together on the next Strategic Command. Will use the Slitherine PBEM++ server for asynchronous multi-player.

What's the red sprite

On the Polish front, there is a German infantry with a flashing red sprite. What is that?

If you're referring to this unit, that is the Bernolák Corps. The one Slovakian unit involved in the invasion of Poland. The flashing red light is the shield emblem of the Slovak flag.

It was named after Anton Bernolák, the first codifier of the literary Slovak language.

Thanks. I'm new to the game, and have been looking through the manual and the unit itself to find the reason for the red light.

If it's flashing, it just means it has action points left which haven't been used up. It's there to alert you so you don't forget to move a unit.
