[1.05b4] Resigning in PBEM results in end of turn crash

Post by Saros »

A player resigning in MP results in the game being unable to continue.

The game will always crash when the turn after resigning the turn order returns to the resigned player.

After the crash there is an autosave generated and if you load it the regime tthat surrendered is erased.

Hi Saros,

Apologies. This only seems to happen in a PBEM game with 3 or more players. It somehow got through QA. :/

I made a special private beta build for you. v105-beta4b:
http://www.vrdesigns.net/openbeta/Shado ... beta4b.zip

It is applied the same way as v105-beta4. See the beta thread.

If the resigning player now replays his last uncorrupted turn, with the units still present and then pressing end turn, it should continue your game as intended.

Best wishes,
Vic
