Unable to install WiF

Hello i bought WiF sometime ago i thought i had installed it but then i uninstalled it. So i decided to have another look at it but when im installing it after a while it comes up with message please install disk 2. Then im unable to overide it can anyone explain whats gone wrong what can i do hope to hear from someone soon thank you.

Hello thanks for your reply. I think ive downloaded it is it any good to download the beta version. Also where are the options to change resolution or what resolution should i play it in. Can i play this game solo against the computer? Thank you for your help i dont know much about background of this game.

When you say 'resolution' what are you referring to? The Windows operating system has a format size that has caused difficulties for some players )it should be set to 100%.

If you mean the size of the graphics on the detailed map, the + and - keys increase and decrease the size of the units.

No, you can't play this game solo against the computer. You can, however, play it solo against yourself. This works very well. Since the game is, barring entry and garrison chits, open information, you do not have to use doublethink to play solitaire. And there is so much going on, that solitaire is rewarding for many people. See the AARs; many of them are solo games.

Hello thank you for your prompt reply. I meant the different resolutions one can setup a game on your monitor I meant. How do you play against other opponents and is there a site to meet opponents play against hope to hear soon thank you.

Hello i installed the game into a new empty folder called WiF and still it keeps asking me for disk 2. Surely there must be a proper way of installing this game i cant believe i spent all this money i cant play the game. I use windows 10. Surely i cant be the only one that has this problem. Can someone explain what i should do when it ask for disk 2 please

I better clarify what I've done I got the three zip files in downloads. I made up a new folder on my Matrix directory called WiF. I extracted the first version into the folder where the exe file is then I clicked on it. Then it starts opening up the files after a while it stops then it asks for disk 2. There is a browser button where do I browse for disk 2. That's what baffles me. Hope this is clear please

Put all three zip files in the folder and then execute the first one. It is self-extracting but it must be in a folder since otherwise the extractor cannot find a path to the next zip file when it needs it.

Hello i just let you know ive finally worked it out. There was a small file i didnt download with the first application to do with installing the second disk. When i installed the main application and it asked for second disk the custom support told me to press the browser button then i spotted a coded number at the bottom i then had to find the game folder then it carried on installing the game. I manage to install all the other versions now have icon on desktop.Theres certainly lot of rules to read. How does one find someone to play against? Thanks a lot for your patience and trying to help me. I see one has to change your own screen to get it completely on your screen. Have a good day.
