Can't update but even weirder than that

Can't update but even weirder than that

This morning I tried to update Strategic Command: War in Europe but was unsuccessful. Not only that but the update screen has "Buy War in Europe" instead of "Play War in Europe". I have bought the game already though. It even seems to exist on the hard drive of my computer but when I click on "Autorun" or any other usual suspects nothing happens.

I bought the game way back when DVD players came with one's computer and got the CD but my DVD player doesn't seem to work anymore. Any suggestions?
