Current search operations make this situation very comparable to the Battle between Kormoran and HMAS Sydney .
After a few days, Axis crew has been found on some life rafts drifting around the forum, while the Allies are missing without a trace. It is still not fully established what actually happened and certainly nobody saw this disaster coming.

Which reminds me: Respect your AMC. They get so much undeserved hate/disrespect in this forum
