All text has disappeared

I purchased and downloaded this game yesterday, and opened it for the first time today. All was well as I played through part of the first tutorial, then saved it and shut down the program. When I opened the program again later today, all the text on the menu and all the pages linked to the menu had disappeared - there are nothing but blank colored blocks in their place. I ran and installed an update, restarted my computer, and then un- and re-installed the game and patch entirely, but nothing changed.

Set Compatibility...

1. Right click SOWGB shortcut
2. Go to Properties/Compatibility
3. Set compatibility to Win 7 or XP
4. Save and close
